Die Minimalvoraussetzung ist PHP in Version 4.0.1 und MySQL in Version 3.22. Für bessere Geschwindigkeit, Stabilität und Sicherheit empfiehlt sich der Einsatz der jeweils aktuellen stabilen Version von PHP und MySQL.

Darüber hinaus benötigt das Forum ca. 2MB Speicherplatz für die Grundinstallation. Dabei entfallen jeweils 1MB auf das Dateisystem und das Datenbanksystem. Mit größeren Benutzeraktivitäten steigt auch der Speicherplatzverbrauch an. 3000 Beiträge belegen ca. 1MB Speicherplatz im Datenbanksystem.
